Welcome...

I too am a consumer & own my own business.  I have only been doing this for a little while. I just want to say I love the products, I have always wanted good, quality products for my family, and I couldn't ever have the chance financially to give this to them. Fortunately, now I can and I feel so much better knowing my family is getting the best.  I want to hug Frank Vandersloot personally...my son who is 7 now has been on prescriptions all his life since he was 3 months old for allergies, asthma & excema. He could never be a normal child until now! When he was 5 his allergies were so bad he was hospitalized for 3 days, due to his asthma attacks. We have been using Melaleuca since January 2005 and WOW!! These products have made such a change in my son's life, we threw all the prescriptions away last month, and he is now a normal child & can have a good life now!!....He hasn't had Excema now since February...FIRST TIME EVER!!!
As for the comments on how Melaleuca not letting us advertise there name, I do have a comment regarding this. I have been an Insurance Agent for Commercial Property & Casualty for almost 9 years, and I have seen many types of law suits in those years. One of the great ideas I liked with this opportunity, is that Melaleuca is being very protective of all that start their own business with this great opportunity. I know from my career experience, not having the liability of "selling Melaleuca products" was one of the reason's I got excited about this. I sure feel better knowing that a Manufacturer that trusts the quality of their product so much, that they want to take 100% of the liability for themselves. That to me says a lot about a company. I was once an Avon Rep. & I also was involved with Amway for awhile years ago. Unfortunately with selling their products, the liability for lawsuits also falls under the person selling their products, being named as well for being the "Manufacturer's Rep". With Melaleuca, you are NOT a Manufacturer's Rep for the products, we don't sell the products ourselves to the customer, all we do is sign them up for membership, it is up to the "Preferred Customer" to look into the products and buy them for themselves, and if they want to advertise their website so other consumers can have the opportunity to do the same is all up to them, not for the person that signed them up. The same liability thought would also fall under say "Sam's Club" membership. If you are unhappy with a product that you purchase at Sam's Club, would you actually go back to the 'same employee' of Sam's Club and demand the employee refund this, or would you go to "Sam's Club" (the company itself) and demand refund on your membership if you were unhappy. I personally would go to the actual company selling the product to me. All I can see with Meleleuca is good things. That $29 for membership to be able to buy products 30-40% in savings, sure makes a lot of sense to me. And I did get this $29 back in my first month of ordering my own products for the month, as I saved $33.62 on my first order from the Retail Price, so it is true, NO RISK. I am an at home mom and love it, and knowing I can purchase better & safer products for my family is the main reason I joined as a Preferred Customer. If I can make money at this business (introducing other people to safer, better & wholesale priced products) to even just pay for the household products I buy every month anyway, this sure makes a big difference. I can see if someone is unhappy with the product, and that is why being human is wonderful, because everyone of us have a different taste in things (kind of like some like spinach, while others do not). And if someone joins to GET RICH FAST, what a mistake of thinking that is. If you look at ALL Legit Business Opportunities out there, there is NOT one "Own your own business" out there that you didn't spend money to make money. And what business out there makes you rich over night. I know for a fact that if you own your own business, there are expenses. I don't know of one company (you start on your own) that you don't have to pay something to start. Even me being an Insurance Agent, I can easily start a business of my own, but it takes money to make money. These are my thoughts, take what makes sense and leave the rest...Krissy

I have been a customer for almost 3 years. I have seen some attacks on how it doesn't save money but, I know it has saved me money.
My 3 yr old has very sensitive skin and I was paying over $20 a month to wash her clothes with Dreft. I tried everything else and her skin reacted. I also paid $13 a jar for Eucarin to treat her eczema.

When I joined Melaleuca I bought their laundry soap, washed all of our clothes together and therefore saved over $15 on laundry alone. Plus, I buy their lotion and save $7 by not buying my previous lotion and I get better results!

My daughter was very ill early in life and on some heavy med. that produced some of the worst diaper rashes you could imagine. After a week of prescription cream not working, I used pure Melaleuca oil. My Dr. was amazed at the progress 3 days later, she was a lot better and totally healed in 5 days!

By the way, the difference between Melaleuca's tea tree oil and whatever you can buy from Walmart is that Melaleuca uses pharmaceutical grade tea tree oil. All of their other products use vegetable derived ingredients and are without toxins.

How can I be sure that they are safe? I hate to admit it, but I had to call the Poison Control Center when my daughter made a mixture of bathroom and kitchen cleaner concentrates and then drank it. I thank God that they were Melaleuca cleaners, had they been something made by Clorox or similar she could have died! The Poison Control Center said I could expect her to have loose stools and no worse.

I don't really work the business, but I do get a about $100 a month from them because people have signed up by trying the products around my house and seeing how it has helped my daughter. No one I know uses Desitan anymore for diaper rashes, they use melaleuca oil, even at my church's daycare!

I buy everything I can from them and they do clean well. A lady I know who cleans professionally for a living switched to Melaleuca because of how it cleaned and she does save money every month, even with shipping. My friend, who was very skeptical, switched after she almost passed out from overwhelming fumes while cleaning her bathroom with a bleach containing product.

Maybe it's not for everyone. But don't make judgements unless you have actually tried the products objectively.

I have had my own cleaning business for about 10 years now and never gave natural cleaning products a second thought, that is up until I just found out I was pregnant. I wanted to try some cleaning products that were less harsh on my skin and lungs, that still worked well. I heard about Melaleuca from my husbands sister. She had told me how well it had worked and that its all natural and safe, which sounded great but, I was still skeptical. Well, we had just moved into a new home that was disgustingly dirty, especially the bathroom. She offered to come over with her Melaleuca products to clean it. I was just amazed! It got off all the hard water deposits, all the soap scum, everything! I am a true believer that this is the way to go. Its cheaper, they smell better and best of all they are safe. I'm  a very pleased customer! Thanks Melaleuca and thanks Dawn for telling me about these wonderful products!
